aBs JMicro launches Holidays 2009
Holidays 2009 is an application that enables the BlackBerry user to easily become aware of important holidays for friends, co-workers and customers. One, several or all holidays in its database can be saved as events in the BlackBerry Calendar.
BUCHAREST, ROMANIA, November 21, 2008 /Mobile Computing and PDA PR News/ -- Leading BlackBerry software company, aBs JMicro Ltd, has launched release 2009 of Holidays.
Holidays 2009 is an application that enables the BlackBerry user to easily become aware of important holidays for friends, co-workers and customers. One, several or all holidays in its database can be saved as events in the BlackBerry Calendar.
BlackBerry Calendar events can be assigned a time that the holidays default to or can be set it up as an all day event. These events can be categorized thus enabling future searches.
The new version adds support for public holidays in 46 countries on all continents and religious holidays for major churches: Catholic, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim and Orthodox.
Holidays 2009 features an Easter Calculator that displays Easter Dates until 2020 for both Catholic and Orthodox Church. The new Date Calculator will display the weekday for a particular date.
Holidays 2009 runs on all BlackBerry devices including the new Bold or Storm. It is available either as standalone or over-the-air download at major distributors and mobile carriers around the world.
